Through the years, the majority of Ranger's yearly awards were for his American Sweeper magazine and companion website, AmericanSweeper.com, both of which were historically sponsored by the Schwarze family, founders of Schwarze Industries, Inc. (and now owners of Victory Sweepers, Inc.)

Since his first award nomination for American Sweeper-related projects in 1994, Ranger won a total of 13 individual Awards for these two projects. Schwarze sponsorship for both AmericanSweeper.com and American Sweeper magazine was discontinued at the end 2004 by Schwarze Industries Inc. and its parent company, The Alamo Group.

In addition, through the years Ranger has also won APEX Awards for other sweeping-related projects, including:

In 2004, Ranger was awarded the competition's prestigious Grand Award for his online travelogue Sweeping Around the World, Europe. The travelogue was one of only 100 Grand Award-winning projects selected by contest editors, out of a total of over 6,500 contest entries.

APEX contest judges called Ranger's online sweeping travelogue "A journey, a quest, an informed and educational look at how it's done in Europe. Compellingly-written, interesting features make superb stories, marvelously told by a first-rate story teller."

We are very proud of the award-winning tradition of excellence that has now been reproduced at the WorldSweeper.com website. Many thanks to all those in the power sweeping industry who are participating as both sponsors and visitors.
