On September 17th Victory Sweepers held a ribbon-cutting that brought together ROOTS Group leadership, local officials and sweeping industry representatives. At the grand opening, Victory also unveiled its redesigned CX3 parking lot sweeper.Victory Sweepers officially celebrated the grand opening of its new manufacturing facility on September 17, 2026, marking a major milestone in the company's continued growth and commitment to American manufacturing. Located at 336 Green Cove Road in South Huntsville, the new 74,000-square-foot facility occupies a 17-acre property and represents a $10 million investment by the ROOTS Group of Companies. The celebration featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by K. Ramasamy, Chairman of the ROOTS Group of Companies, and R. Varun Karthikeyan, Vice Chairman, along with Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle, local government and City Council representatives, business partners, customers, dealers and other invited guests.
A Significant Investment in American Sweeper ManufacturingThe new Huntsville facility represents a major expansion of Victory Sweepers' manufacturing capabilities and establishes a foundation for continued growth in the North American sweeping equipment market. The ROOTS Group has maintained a manufacturing presence in Huntsville since 2017, when ROOTS MULTICLEAN, Inc. acquired the Victory Sweepers product lines and began expanding the brand's manufacturing operations. The new purpose-built facility replaces the company's previous leased manufacturing space and provides expanded capacity for production, engineering, testing and product development. At full capacity, the facility is expected to manufacture up to 200 commercial sweepers annually.
Dedicated areas for engineering, production management and sales will also improve communication between departments, allowing customer and dealer feedback to be incorporated more efficiently into equipment development and manufacturing. For sweeping contractors, municipalities and equipment dealers, the expansion is intended to translate into improved equipment availability, more responsive production and continued access to technical, parts and service support. Speaking at the grand opening, Vice Chairman Varun Karthikeyan emphasized the ROOTS Group's long-term commitment to Huntsville and its confidence in the North American market. Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle also welcomed the expansion, recognizing the importance of continued manufacturing investment and the economic development taking place in Huntsville.
Victory Unveils Its Redesigned CX3 Parking Lot SweeperOne of the highlights of the grand opening for sweeping industry professionals was the introduction of the Victory CX3, a compact, low-profile parking lot sweeper developed to provide improved sweeping performance, increased debris capacity and greater operating versatility. Designed for mounting on a conventional three-quarter-ton truck chassis, typically a Ford F-250 or Chevrolet 2500HD, the CX3 combines a maneuverable platform with features normally associated with larger commercial sweepers. The redesigned machine features a 3.1-cubic-yard debris hopper constructed of 304 stainless steel, providing increased debris capacity while maintaining a compact overall configuration. The CX3 is powered by a gasoline-fueled, approximately 25-horsepower Rehlko (formerly Kohler) Command PRO auxiliary engine coupled to Victory's 26-inch-diameter, 10-blade backward-inclined blower fan. This combination is designed to provide strong vacuum performance for routine commercial parking lot sweeping and other demanding paved-surface applications. A key design objective of the CX3 is its low overall height. With a sweeper clearance height of approximately 78 inches, depending on chassis configuration, the compact design can provide greater accessibility to parking structures and other facilities with restricted overhead clearances. The CX3 also incorporates a 72-inch hydraulic dump height, large inspection doors on both sides of the hopper and a full-opening top door to simplify debris unloading, cleaning and maintenance. A 26-inch gutter broom with electric in-cab tilt control is standard on the left side, with an optional right-side broom available. The CX3 reflects Victory Sweepers' ongoing emphasis on combining practical operating features, straightforward maintenance and durable construction in equipment designed for professional sweeping contractors. While the CX3 unveiling was an important highlight of the celebration, the new Huntsville manufacturing operation will support Victory Sweepers' extensive lineup of truck-mounted and purpose-built sweeping equipment. The company's products serve municipalities, commercial sweeping contractors, airports, construction companies, industrial facilities and commercial property maintenance operations. Among its regenerative-air street sweepers are the RX6 and RX4, both designed to provide commercial and municipal operators with powerful sweeping performance in maneuverable truck configurations. The Victory RX6 features a 6.58-cubic-yard stainless-steel debris hopper, a 74-horsepower turbo-diesel auxiliary engine and a low-dumping design suited for municipal street sweeping and other demanding cleanup applications.
Victory also manufactures a broad range of heavy-duty parking lot and industrial sweepers, including the GX, DX, DF and UNO, along with specialized models intended to address different sweeping environments and customer requirements. The expanded manufacturing facility will allow Victory to continue improving its existing products while supporting the development and introduction of additional models. Among these are an 8-cubic-yard, truck-mounted regenerative-air street sweeper designed to expand the company's capabilities in the municipal and heavy-duty sweeping markets, along with a new line of mechanical broom sweepers.
Note from WorldSweeper.com's Editor: In 2016 I had the pleasure of meeting the owners, managers and employees at ROOTS Multiclean when I visited Coimbatore, India. It was a wonderful experience, especially meeting the Chairman of ROOTS, K. Ramasamy, and his son, Varun Ramasamy.
They provided a tour of the company's sparkling clean and well organized manufacturing facility, as well as a wonderful tour of the area where it was located. They were gracious hosts operating an obviously well-run manufacturing facility where more than just sweepers were being built for both the Indian market and for export to many companies around the world.
I was so impressed that a few months later I connected the Ramasamy's with Mark Schwarze, then owner of Victory Sweepers, to see whether there might be synchronicities between both the people and their organizations. I'm proud to report that the meeting is what ultimately spurred ROOTS to venture into the U.S. marketplace by purchasing Victory. If you haven't yet read my "Indian Sweeper Odyssey 2016," recipient of an APEX Award for Publication Excellence, I suggest you will definitely want to do so. In addition to featuring the manufacturing facility where ROOTS sweepers were being made, it also showcases some of the other products – including scrubber driers, industrial vacuums, high pressure jets and, get this, between 6 and 7 million vehicle horns every year – the company produced. If you click here you will be able to read all about the ROOTS Multiclean organization. You'll learn about the professionalism of the company and you'll understand why they have become so successful in the U.S. about making the Victory Sweepers product line.
