Features you can't do without

I would like some advice from those of you out there that own Air Sweepers. As I'm looking to buy my first one, can you tell me what features or options you simply can't do without? I've heard that an automatic transmission is pretty much mandatory, but what beyond that?

Is this in reference to parking lots or street sweepers?

A lot depends on who is going to drive it.

Items needed
Warning lights, Water system for dust control, curb broom,w/power tilt, Tool storage, Hopper shaker.
If I am the 1 driving add this to the above, power windows, power door locks, cd/radio, air conditioning.
I think you will find most everything else is standard.
options that are not a must but would be nice to have. curb broom on both sides, extra water tank, stainless hopper.

If you are financing it then the little added to your payments for the extras don't add much. But sure are nice to have if you will be spending 4 to 8 hours a day in the cab.

This is what I would like to see in a new rig. others may not.

As an operator of a Tymco 435, I wish we'd of gotten power mirrors for both doors and the stainless steel hopper.

I didn't know there were any standard-shift sweepers. I can't imagine having to run one of them...
