Newbie here, nice to see a forum dedicated to street sweeping. I'm a maintenance worker for a municipality in the East Bay portion of the greater San Francisco Bay Area. I have operated regen's for the last 18 years all of which have been Tymco600's and just recently switched to a Schwarze A9000.

Introduction

Post by Bill Johnson » Wed Dec 14, 2005 4:14 am

Hello, I am Bill Johnson, have been in the sweeping /striping /maintenance /contracting business ever since 1976. I have always owned Swarze equipment of the 343G and D style, therefore all of my experience is based upon the use of that equipment. Currently looking to buy a 347 or 348 style as a second unit to place on the road, and decided to see what else was available, and see what others may be using.

I also am interested to see what others may be doing to recruit, hire, and retain good employees.

I also am a full time locksmith and personal/physical security specialist.

Looking forward to some good discussions.

Bill

Hi Bill,
I hope you remember me. I was at Schwarze and sold you a sweeper a few years ago (ok, maybe more than a few, but who's countin'). I hope all's been well with you and your family.
If you want to give me a call sometime, I can give you my personal opinion of the different brands available and what your options are. Since I'm no longer with a manufacturer I'm sure you'll see my opinion as a little less biased.
In the event you want to visit my website just to see what I'm up to these days, you can see me at www.usedsweepersofamerica.com
Feel free to call on me anytime and I'll try to point you in the right direction. My toll free # is 1-877-764-9341 and my cell is 256-541-2500.
Hope to hear from ya soon,

Tommy

My name is Dan, I've been servicing the management industry since 1983. Mostly snow removal, landscaping, painting and exterior envelope maintenance including deck viny maintenance and replacement. All around service, but were weak in the parking lot/lawncare. So I added parking lot sweeping this year and we've been doing lawncare on a limited basis since 06. Seems to me that sweeping brings in good dollars and so we've invested in a used Tennant 365 and a new Tennant 3640. So far, so good. Hope more people come out to talk...lol

I've noticed that some spammers come here and post about viagra and all that. Incredible how they try to make a dime everywhere. Just like rats, hard to get rid of...

Glad to be here. 8)

I am located in Union City, Ca. How does the Schwarze compare with the Tymco?
